Lori & Jim,
Russell
and I want to thank you and your entire staff for making our
wedding such a special occasion for us and our family. It was
such a beautiful ceremony and reception. My wedding was all
I ever dreamed it would be...it was a dream come true.
All
of our friends and family were impressed by the surroundings
and complimented us on choosing such a lovely, southern home.
They were amazed at such lovely decorations and surroundings.
The
food was wonderful, and the presentation of the buffet magnificent.
Your catering staff was so accommodating in
helping me choose my menu.
Jim
was so much fun to talk with and his friendly, charming personality
meant so much to us.
We loved the ride in the Cadillac convertible.
Josh
did a wonderful job as our DJ. My ceremony music he played for
us brought tears to our guest's eyes...
and the reception was great.
The
horse & carriage was enchanting. In fact, someone told me
a child that saw me arriving commented,
"I saw a princess get out of a carriage today." All
of our guests enjoyed the carriage rides.
We
appreciate all of your hard work and once again, thank you for
all of your help and advice while allowing us
to share your lovely historical home with our family and friends.

want to thank you for everything you did, suggested,
and arranged for Allison & Russell's wedding. I
am still bragging about how well everything turned out,
and I have heard so many good comments from family and
friends who attended. I really feel that those that
did not make it to the wedding missed out on a very
special evening. Your advice helped relieve so much
of the stress that comes along with planning such an
event.

We
wanted to write a quick note to let you know
how much we enjoyed our wedding! You wouldn't
believe the compliments that we have gotten
from our guests about the house, decorations
and food! Even people that didn't come to the
wedding but saw pictures, commented on how beautiful
the house and gardens were! I had one guest
tell me that she always wanted her daughters
to elope, but when she saw me arriving in the
carriage, she reconsidered! :)
It
was everything and more that I had ever pictured
my wedding being! Thank-you for making it so
special and memorable! You have a special thing

Kasey's Absolute "Storybook Wedding"
As
we were searching for the perfect place for Kasey's
wedding March 22, 2008, meeting all of the different
people we would be working so closely with I soon realized
that I was going to be so busy making sure that everything
got delivered & coordinated, that I was not going
to be able to relax and enjoy the wedding day. As soon
as we had our tour, we knew right away that you guys
were the "real deal". The perfect setting,
you and your staff took on all of the headaches, planning,
coordinating a smooth transition from start to finish
and all I had to do was enjoy the day. You helped in
so many ways that I can't even begin to touch on each.
But suffice it to say, I felt that you were members
of our family and that you would do whatever you could
to make everything perfect -- not because it was a job
but because you cared.
Not
only is the Wilhite House the most magnificent setting
but you also took all of the pressure off of me in coordinating,
flowers, caterers, bakers, servers, and all of the things
that we don't think of until we have to do it. You do
it ALL there wonderfully and I was able to turn it all
over to you and forget about it because I knew that
you and your staff would handle everything and I could
just enjoy the day and walk away at the conclusion of
the evening.
From
the moment our guests began arriving to a welcome beverage
to the Horse & Carriage bringing in the bride, the
wonderful buffet, champagne bar and all through the
evening up until the Caddy Convertible whisked away
the Bride & Groom, I can honestly say that I am
so glad that we found you for the most important day
of our daughter's life.
Your
decorations and flowers are beautiful, the food is not
only a sight to behold but tastes as wonderful and the
Chocolate Fountain a sight to see!

day and caring enough to make it perfect.

wanted to thank you again for the fabulous bridal shower tea
you and the staff at The Wilhite House
prepared on Feb 16, 2008. You more than exceeded my expectations
for the event.
I must say that in the beginning I was anxious trying to plan
an event long distance, never having seen
the event facility and never having tasted the food. The professionalism
and attention to detail
that you and your staff exhibited laid all my fears to rest.
When
I arrived everything was just as I had hoped it would be.
The rooms were so enchantingly decorated.

The
bride-to-be was very pleased and even called to tell me how

can Erik and I even begin to thank you for making all of our
wedding day dreams come true! Now that it’s all said
and done, I miss our regular witty banter, and back and forth
emails about spectacular ideas and gourmet cheese!
Thank you both for all of your hard work and meticulous attention
to detail to make sure everything was perfect.
Our
guests are still commenting how beautiful the property was,
how convenient it was to have everything in one
place and of course how professional & courteous the staff
are. I couldn’t agree more! Patrick made a huge impression
on the family, and some of them are even scouting for him a
mate! Having Katie serve fresh lemonade to our guests as
they arrived really made an over-the-top impression! It was
the ultimate show of hospitality, making our guests feel like
I had welcomed them each with a hug as they stepped into my
own home. Josh the DJ was wonderfully accommodating
to all of our guests, followed our every request to a 'T' and
EVERYONE enjoyed the karaoke!
The
food was incredible, the presentation was way over-the-top and
far beyond even some of the highest end hotels
that I’ve seen. I sincerely appreciate how you and Cheryl
took time out of your hectic days to spend the time to get to
know
Erik and I so that our wedding genuinely reflected us as individuals.
Every individual touch, goldfish, fruit carving and decoration
was exactly the way I would have wanted, and more than I had
ever dreamed!
Our
dear friend “the crazy Italian lady”, a true European
diplomat, told my father the day after the event that ours
was her first American wedding. She commented that it was as
grand and fanciful as the most prestigious dignitary balls
she had attended, but infinitely more fun and intimate.
Please
give big hugs to Cheryl, Angel, Sara, Patrick, Scott, Katie,
Josh, little Dartanion and the rest of the crew
who worked so hard to make our wedding day such a huge success!You
always have loving friends in Charlotte , N. C..

and I wanted to thank you for our beautiful wedding. Everything

Dear Jim and Lori,
Josh and I were married at your venue on May 12, 2006. I wanted
to write you and let you know how much we enjoyed having our wedding
at the Wilhite House. All of our family members were from out
of town and were highly impressed with the house, the grounds,
decorations and most of all THE FOOD !!!
Josh
and I loved the food as well. However, what we were most happy
with was the fact that the Pavilion was done in time for our wedding
and we were able to have an Arbor wedding, our reception in the
covered pavilion and our older friends
and family were able to enjoy the reception from inside the house.
You and your crew made us all feel welcome and truly appreciated
on our special day.
I
photograph weddings every week and have seen many places to hold

Josh and I agree you were the best choice for us and when asked
