In our world today it seems so easy for us to complain and bring up all the negative that comes our way while we are often too busy to write about the great things in our lives. That is exactly why I am writing a testimony to the many wonderful brides that I have had the privilege to work with here at The Wilhite House.

THANK YOU so very much...BEAUTIFUL BRIDES...who have taken the time to write the testimonies below. I cannot tell you honored I am that you entrusted your wedding details to myself and my staff here at The Wilhite House. And, thank you for taking the time to write such kind and considerate words so that I may post them for future brides to read. I have never taken a wedding day for granted. Each one is very special to us and we treat them as we would want our own wedding day treated...with respect, sincerity, and interest!

I would love to say that each and every bride who has had her wedding day here, was just as happy as the ones below, but sadly we cannot honestly make that claim. I have evaluated each and every complaint as closely as I have the wonderful testimonies of very happy brides in order to ensure the best quality of service to each of our future brides. I have determined that I probably will never be able to please everyone...no matter how I try! The exciting thing for me is that our stack of happy brides far exceeds the few who have been disappointed.

I just HAVE to say.... my wedding was a FAIRY TALE. Every detail I asked for...everything was just perfect. You took the dream I've had for my wedding since a little girl, and delivered it just as I envisioned and just as I would have done it if I physically did it all myself! I saw the 3 photos You have online from our wedding and the night shot of just the pavilion takes my breath!!! I may be a little bias...but there is just no other on that page that tops that!! :)
Seriously. THANK YOU FROM MY HEART....MY CORE....for our wedding. I had people that spoke to me after our honeymoon with tears in their eyes about how fairy tale it was...i have had people say, "I have been to LOTS of weddings, and I really believe yours was the most beautiful one I've ever seen." !!!!!! THANK YOU FOR being such a huge part of that. For executing my ideas and my requests so well & being so good at what you do, yourself.
It was truly a win if there ever was one!
You guys were great to work with and b.c of your professionalism and ability and being willing to LISTEN to me, that night was a dream.

Our souls are overjoyed from our union and how you brought the beauty of our love OUT for everyone to see through the gorgeous & incredibly romantic reception. Seriously, words are failing me right now b.c that wedding was something out of a story! SO, not real life....it was just amazing and blew my mind along with all of our guests. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how fabulous Sarah & BJ's wedding was. It was like a "fairy-tale" wedding. Everything went so smoothly and the guests all commented on how beautiful it was.
They loved everything from the food and the displays to the fruit carving and the decor.
I had several out-of-town guests and they fell in love with The Wilhite House.

I wish I could relive the day in slow motion. It was a wonderful beginning to Sarah & BJ's marriage.

Russell and I want to thank you and your entire staff for making our wedding day such a special occasion for us
and family. It was such a beautiful ceremony and reception. My wedding was all I ever dreamed it would be...it was a dream come true. All of our guests were impressed with the surroundings and complimented us on choosing such a lovely, southern home. They were amazed at the beauty.
The food was wonderful, and the presentation of the buffet was magnificent. Your catering staff was so accommodating in helping me choose my menu.
Jim was so much fun to talk with and his friendly, charming personality meant so much to us.
We loved the ride in the Cadillac Convertible.
Josh did a wonderful job as our DJ. My ceremony music he played for us brought tears to our guest's eyes...and the reception music was great.
The horse and carriage was enchanting. In fact, someone told me a child that saw me arriving commented,
"I saw a princess get out of a carriage today." All of our guests enjoyed the carriage rides.
We appreciate all of your hard work and once again, thank you for all of your help and advice while allowing us to share your lovely historical home with our family and friends.

Allison has written her own testimony, but as for me, I really want to thank you for everything you did, suggested, and arranged for Allison & Russell's wedding. I am still bragging about how well everything turned out, and I have heard so many good comments from family and friends who attended. Kasey's Absolute Storybook Wedding

As we were searching for the perfect place for Kasey's wedding March 22, 2008, meeting all of the different people we would be working so closely with I soon realized that I was going to be so busy making sure that everything got delivered & coordinated that I was not going to be able to relax and enjoy the wedding day. As soon as we had our tour, we knew right away that you guys were the "real deal". The perfect setting, you and your staff took on all the headaches, planning and coordinating a smooth transition from start to finish. All I had to do was enjoy the day. You helped in so many ways I cannot begin to touch on each. Suffice it to say I felt that you were members of our family and that you would do whatever you could to make everything perfect - not because it was your job but because you cared.

Not only is The Wilhite House a magnificent setting, you helped with the flowers, catering, bakers, servers and all of the other things we hadn't even thought of until we had to do it. You did it all so wonderfully. And, best of all, I enjoyed the day and walked away at the end of the evening with everything handled.

From the moment our guests began arriving to a welcome beverage to the Horse & Carriage bringing in the bride, the wonderful buffet, champagne bar and all through the evening up until the Cadillac Convertible whisked away the bride and groom, I can honestly say that I am so glad that we found you for the most important day of our daughter's life.

Your decorations and flowers are beautiful, the food is not only a sight to behold but tastes as wonderful...
And the Chocolate Fountain, a sight to se!

How can Erik & I even begin to thank you for making all of our wedding day dreams come true! Now that it's all said and done, I miss our regular witty banter, and back and forth emails about spectacular ideas and gourmet cheese! Thank you both for all your hard work and meticulous attention to detail to make sure everything was perfect. Our guests are still commenting how beautiful the property was, how convenient it was to have everything at one location and of course how professional & courteous the staff were. I couldn't agree more! Patrick made a huge impression and having Katie serving fresh lemonade to our guests as they arrived really made an over-the-top impression. It was the ultimate show of hospitality, making our guests feel like I had welcomed them each with a hug as they stepped into my home.
Josh, the DJ was wonderfully accommodating to all of our guests, and followed our every request to the "T" and EVERYONE enjoyed the karaoke. The food was incredible and the presentation was far beyond even some of the higest-end hotels that I've seen. I sincerely appreciate how you and Cheryl took the time out of your hectic day to

get to know Erik and I so that our wedding genuinely reflected us as individuals. Every single touch: the goldfish, fruit carving and decoration was exactly the way I would have wanted and more than I had ever dreamed!

Our dear friend "the crazy Italian lady" who is a true European Diplomat, told my father the day after the event that ours was her first American wedding. She commented that it was as grand and fanciful as the most prestigious dignitary balls she had attended, but infinitely more fun and intimate.

Please give big hugs to Cheryl, Katie, Patrick, Scott, Josh, little D'artanion and the rest of the Crew who worked so hard to make our wedding day such a huge success!

Dear Lori,

Brian and I wanted to thank you for our beautiful wedding. Everything was so nice!
I still have guests telling me how beautiful our wedding was. When I walked out of the house to walk down the aisle and saw all of my family and friends sitting in the beautiful garden, it brought tears to my eyes.
